Welcome to the NSW Muscle Car Association
NSW MUSCLE CAR ASSOC is a car
club dedicated to everything fast in the factory Muscle Car world. From
classic Australian & American Muscle cars to today's high-tech
performance vehicles, we have it all.
Big block or small block ,
6cyl ,Chrysler , Ford, Holden, Chevy or Mopar, turbo,... If
it's fast you need to be here.
The club, though, is about
much more than simply cars. We are first and foremost a social group of
friends with a common interest in cars. In addition to our runs &
informal get-togethers we also organize a variety of club events
throughout the year. These include activities such as cruises,
barbecues, family orientated runs ,show days , days at the
racetrack where you could take home bragging rights as the fastest
around, to just simply testing out your ride's potential.
If you are looking for

FEATURE CAR
The VK Group A SS was a 500
build homologation special with it's striking Formula Blue paintwork. For these
cars, the 5.0 litre V8 was actually destroked from 5044cc's to 4.987cc's, or 308 cubic inches to 304
cubic inches. A mix up in ordering meant 502 SS Group A's were actually produced and the cars
featured much of the items to be used on the race cars, such as large front air
dam, large boot spoiler, roller rockers and a modified block, which was painted
a distinctive red. A Crane Cam of HDT's design was also fitted and all up, the
Group A's modifications lifted the power output to a very healthy
196kw's.
16x7 HDT Aero rim's were fitted as standard with 225 50 Series Bridgestone Potenza tyres.
The interior featured the cars build number of 500 on the glovebox,
along with a set of Shceel seats, momo steering wheel & gearbknob, drivers foot rest but not
much else, with the sound system consiting of just 2 speakers and a Tape Deck as
it was not designed to be a luxury cruiser.
